Thanks to ImetJohnK for sending in these images and a report on her visit to the set of Farlanders.

That is the car John arrived in and left in the day we met him (he is sitting in the car waving goodbye in this pic).

[This is a] picture of the front of the train that was being used in the movie - see the sign on the train station says Thomaston.

[Here is a] picture of the front gate of Taft school .. as you can see there was security - 2 police on each entrance and on St. corners (it's a private school so they said the security is high). In this photo man standing between police cars is a local newspaper photograph -- but you can see past the gate John's back -- he is standing near the blue/white truck with a green army like jacket. We watched them film a scene about 15 times. Him, Maggie and Maya kept walking past the gate.

[This is a] picture of John's production assistance and you can see John in the top right hand corner.

It was a summit of comedic minds in New York's West Village yesterday, as When in Rome cast members Kristen Bell, Will Arnett and Dax Shepard convened with Saturday Night Live stars Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph, along with a fuzz-faced John Krasinski, to have lunch and presumably crack each other up.

And thanks to Caitlin for finding this image of John with a fan on the set of his new movie.

After spending over a week uploading videos, I have finally launched the new video archive.

Much like Youtube, it allows viewers to watch, upload, and search videos. In addition this archive will allow visitors to download the videos to their computers.

There are a few rules that need to be addressed before anyone begins uploading to the archive. PLEASE READ ALL OF THE RULES!

1. Before you upload a video, make sure it is not already on the site.

2. DO NOT UPLOAD WHOLE EPISODES/MOVIES TO THE ARCHIVE!

3. Please don't upload any videos that do not contain John/John's voice.

4. Videos that contain nudity will be removed and the user will be banned.

5. If you would like your video to be available for download, you will need to send me a copy of the video through email, otherwise the download link for that video will not work.

6. PLEASE DO NOT UPLOAD FAN-MADE/MUSIC VIDEOS!

7. If any of these rules are broken your video will be deleted!

Here is some information I have rounded up about the filming locations of The Untitled Sam Mendes Project/Farlanders.

If you live in the Watertown, CT area here is some casting information from gwcnyc.com:

Grant Wilfley Casting is seeking the following for the upcoming feature film FARLANDERS (AKA UNTITLED SAM MENDES PROJECT):

12- to 18-month-old identical twins;
SAG & Non-SAG people to play college students and faculty for scenes shooting on May 5 & 6 in Watertown, CT.

Email submissions to sam@gwcnyc.com. Write the role for which you are submitting in the subject line of your email. Filming in CT.

And here is some information for those who live in the Tucson or Phoenix, AZ area from Phil Villarreal:

Sam Mendes will be shooting part of his new film in Arizona (Phoenix & Tucson) June 2nd through June 10th. Helen McCready, C.S.A. will be casting extras, featured extras, day players and stand-ins.

Some of Sam Mendes’ past films are: American Beauty, Road to Perdition (with Tom Hanks), and Jarheads.

PAY: $75 for extras/featured extras — Day Players and Stand-in’s TBD.
